Use the Sheboygan County or Wisconsin office assigned to the record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and CIB responses: contact the Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau
- Sheriff, booking, and correctional records: email sheriffrecords@sheboygancounty.com, call the Sheriff at 920-459-3111, or call detention at 920-459-1300
- Official Wisconsin checks: order through the Wisconsin Online Record Check System
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement: file eligible court material with the circuit court that heard the case
The Sheboygan County Sheriff records custodian is at the Law Enforcement Center, 525 North 6th Street, Sheboygan, WI 53081, 920-459-3111. Requests may be emailed to sheriffrecords@sheboygancounty.com. The Sheriff publishes a ten-working-day target, though review and redaction can take longer.
The Clerk of Circuit Court is on the first floor of the Sheboygan County Courthouse, 615 North 6th Street, Sheboygan, WI 53081. The counter is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Call 920-459-3068. Court record requests may go to Sheboygan.records@wicourts.gov or fax 920-459-3921.
