Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company that operates the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies its response. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. We keep the message within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server automatically receives basic technical information about that visit:
- Page-view dates and times
- The referring website, when one is reported
- Pages opened and the time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- The device IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by the browser. They and analytics tools help create aggregate measures such as popular pages and common exit points. Browser settings can reject cookies, although blocking them may change how some features behave.

Sheboygan County guidance identifies the Sheriff, Circuit Court, Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau, and Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry as official custodians or access points. Visitor information is not assembled into a third-party record or consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Data entered there is handled under that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Sheboygan County offices, Wisconsin court and agency portals, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that cross-site tracking.

Personal data is not sold. Information may still be available to these limited recipients:

Stat. § 19.35, governs requests to Wisconsin government authorities rather than visitor data held by this private site. CIB criminal-history dissemination is separately governed by Wis.
